Boutique Wine Tour
Because of their Pacific Northwest location, Washington grapes receive
17.5 hours of summer sunlight daily, a couple of hours more than in California!
Those hot, long summer days provide good growing time, while the cool nights produce
a great acid balance. Completing the equation is Washington's incomparable soil.
No wonder this state has some truly elegant wines and wineries!
Our four-hour tour will take us to Woodinville, just outside of
Seattle, to some of the best boutique wineries to be found. We will
taste trip through such cellars as Novelty Hill, Januik, DeLille, and
DiStefano. Along the way we will learn more about viniculture and other
agriculture in this diverse area. Plan for a truly enjoyable afternoon.
